Math Blogging with Patty O

Two new blog assignments have been posted for AP Calculus students. Please click on the AP Calculus button at the right to view these assignments. Both entries are due Monday, October 16th.

Once you log in, a page called your Dashboard will appear. When you click on your name/folder, four buttons will appear: Entries, Weblog, Community, and View Weblog. To start with, you may be interested in the following features:

• Weblog will allow you to change the look of your blog. 
• You can change the colors and look of your blog by clicking Layout. You can use the default layout provided, choose a different layout, or create your own using the custom layout builder.
• Under More Options, you can change the title of your blog and add a description. I recommend choosing a title that is a little more descriptive than period3js. First names are recommended since it will make it easier for Mrs. O to grade your blog and give you credit for your entries and comments, but no last names are allowed in blog titles or any posts in this forum (first name with last initial is OK).
• Entries will allow you to add new entries or edit old ones.
• Categories will allow you to create different categories to organize your entries. This may be helpful for students enrolled in two math classes.

Your username should consist of your class period and initials. For example, if John Smith is in my 3rd period class, his username would be period3js.
